SPHI FOODS SDN BHD: NOURISHING PARTNERSHIPS AT UBD

Thursday 7 March 2024 – University of Brunei Darussalam (UBD) through Office of Assistant Vice Chancellor (Innovation and Enterprise) (OAVCIE) convened a meeting with SPHI Foods Sendirian Berhad at Innovation and Enterprise Office, Integrated Sciences Building UBD, enhancing collaborative efforts between academia and industry. The ninety-minute session was characterized by in-depth discussions and explorations, highlighting a mutual interest in nurturing innovative partnerships and joint initiatives. Present at the meeting was YM Tuan Haji Ibrahim Khalili bin Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman, the General Manager of SPHI Foods Sdn Bhd, alongside representatives from UBD led by the Assistant Vice Chancellor (Innovation and Enterprise), YM Professor Dr. Mohd Ayub Sadiq @ Lin Naing, and his team, including YM Dr. Annie Dayani Hj Ahad, Deputy Director (Enterprise), and YM Dr. Siti Norwahida Shukeri, Assistant Professor at UBD School of Business. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to advancing collaboration and delineating forthcoming steps to establish continuous communication channels.
