UBD VENTURES INTO AQUACULTURE INNOVATION THROUGH EFISHERY

Monday, 5 February 2024 – Office of Assistant Vice Chancellor (Innovation and Enterprise) joined an online meeting to engage with an aquaculture company to explore opportunities involving work attachment for UBD students and site-visits for academic staff at the site-industry. The online meeting was initiated by Tuan Muhammad Nur Adzimin Abdul Amin, Business Development Lead, Brunei Innovation Lab (BIL) to connect UBD with eFishery Indonesia which was represented by Tuan De Rizky Kurniawan, Central Goverment Relation Manager eFishery. Meanwhile UBD side was represented by Professor Dr Mohd Ayub Sadiq @ Lin Naing, Assistant Vice Chancellor (Innovation and Enterprise). The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to advancing collaboration through partner universities in Indonesia, outlining next steps to pursue UBD’s interest in leveraging expertise from eFishery.
