Friday, 2 February 2024 – Office of Assistant Vice Chancellor (Innovation and Enterprise) hosted another meeting fostering strong engagements between industries and academia. This time OAVCIE brought ITIS Wescot Technology Sdn Bhd to engage with UBD School of Digital Science. The one-hour meeting held at the School of Digital Science UBD was marked by discussions and explorations, underscoring the mutual interest in fostering innovative partnerships and advancing digital collaborative initiatives.

The General Manager ITIS Wescot Technology Sdn Bhd, YM Tuan Shahreender Singh and the Sales Director, YM Tuan Roger Yap Sze Yeow attended the meeting. Meanwhile UBD side was represented by YM Professor Dr Mohd Ayub Sadiq @ Lin Naing, Assistant Vice Chancellor (Innovation and Enterprise), YM Senior Professor Dr Chandratilak De Silva Liyanage, Dean of School of Digital Science, and YM Assistant Professor Dr Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, Programme Leader (Artificial and Robotics), School of Digital Science. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to advancing collaboration, outlining next steps to go further to establishing ongoing communication channels.
