Cuckoo International (B) Sdn Bhd pays visit to Centre for Advanced Material and Energy Sciences (CAMES), UBD

As part of the commercialisation initiative from The Office of Assistant Vice Chancellor Innovation and Enterprise (OAVCIE), Mr Lim Kok Shien, Deputy Director of OAVCIE, has invited Cuckoo International (B) Sdn Bhd for an official visit on the 28th of March 2022 to Centre for Advanced Material and Energy Sciences (CAMES), Universiti Brunei Darussalam.

CAMES official visit was hosted by Dr Abdul Hanif Mahadi, Deputy Director of CAMES and Dr Muhammad Raziq Rahimi Kooh Bin Abdullah, Lecture of CAMES.

During the visit, Cuckoo International (B) Sdn Bhd was briefly introduced to CAMES invention that has been filed for a patent, current collaboration with abroad universities and how their inventions aim for Technology Readiness Level.

During the visit, Cuckoo’s representative also had the chance to tour CAMES’s Laboratory. During the tour, Dr Muhammad Raziq Rahimi Kooh demonstrated one of their filed patents, U68 Modified Charcoal for Selective Absorption. 

With the official visit from the industry, it is hoped that it widens up the opportunity for our filed patent to be more well recognised by the industry segment and create more opportunities for further collaboration.
