The Office of Assistant Vice Chancellor Innovation and Enterprise (OAVCIE) would like to cordially invite you to join the Decommissioning Webinar (Brunei Segment), that will be on Wednesday, 23rd June 2021, 2.00pm – 4.30pm.
The Webinar Decommissioning (Brunei Segment) is a webinar as a part of Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE) Project Initiative. RAE Project is funded through Engineering X, an international collaboration founded by the Royal Academy of Engineering and Lloyd's Register Foundation. It is part of the Engineering X Safer End of Engineered Life Mission, which aims to achieve safer and more sustainable decommissioning and waste disposal.
Engineering X has awarded funding to a consortium of partners in ASEAN and South Asia to undertake a study on decommissioning of offshore structures in the region:
The purpose of the webinar is to connect and share current practices within ASEAN to achieve a safer and more sustainable decommissioning and waste disposal.
Speakers of the webinar ranges from different expertise including academia, industry and regulators of whom they would share knowledge, technology, innovation, experience and challenge in decommissioning.
