DSS working visit to UBD Biosensors and Nanobiotechnology Laboratory

On 12th April 2021, the Office of Assistant Vice Chancellor Innovation and Enterprise (OAVCIE) welcomed the Department of Scientific service (DSS), Ministry of Health to UBD Biosensors and Nano-biotechnology Laboratory.

Attending from DSS were Chief Scientific Officer Hjh Hasinahwati Binti Hj Hanafi, Chief Scientific Officer Nur Nisrinah Binti Hj Awang Yusof, Scientific Officer Dr Hjh Noorhasifah Binti Awang Hj Tengah, Scientific Officer Nadiah Binti Hj Amidon, and Scientific Officer Norkhuzaifah Binti Kassim. Welcoming them were Professor Dr. Mohammad Ayub Sadiq @ Lin Naing (Assistant Vice Chancellor, Innovation & Enterprise), Pg Dr. Emeroylariffion Abas (Director of OAVCIE), Associate Professor Dr Minhaz Uddin Ahmed, Dr Lim Lee Hoon, Dr Noor Faizah Mohd Naim and staff from OAVCIE.

DSS is responsible for providing laboratory services through comprehensive scientific analysis and calibration to support public health and law enforcement agencies in Brunei Darussalam. The department is capable of providing such scientific analytical services and calibration services, in line with current developments in the fields of health science, forensic science, metrology, and in assisting to fulfill food export requirements
