OAVCIE VISIT TO ITPSS SDN BHD

On Friday, 7 July 2023, the Office of Assistant Vice Chancellor Innovation and Enterprise (OAVCIE) made a courtesy visit to I.T Protective Security Service (ITPSS) Sendirian Berhad to meet Tuan Haji Mohammad Azad Zaki bin Haji Mohd Tahir, the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer. Accompanying him were Tuan Haji Mas Zuraime bin Haji Abd Hamid, Deputy Chief Operation Officer and Tuan Pg Mohd Farid Zulhisni bin Pg Aziz, Senior Operation Officer. OAVCIE team was led by Professor Dr Mohd Ayub Sadiq, the Assistant Vice Chancellor (Innovation and Enterprise) who came with Dr Annie Dayani bte Hj Ahad Abdullah, the Deputy Director OAVCIE, and his assistant registrar.

The one-hour meeting focused on potential areas for future collaboration and joint activities which include staff training, as well as internship and apprenticeship for UBD students which aligned with the UN SDG 4. The visit concluded with a mutual commitment to further dialogues and joint exploration of opportunities. Both parties expressed common interests to materialise these discussions into concrete actions which would benefit not only their respective stakeholders but also society as a whole.

ITPSS Sdn Bhd which is a government-linked company, has been providing a wide range of specialized services addressing information security and cyber security since 2003.
