UBD RECEIVES COURTESY VISIT FROM BEYOND TOMORROW SENDIRIAN BERHAD

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Brunei, 16 August 2023 – Beyond Tomorrow Sendirian Berhad, an ICT powerhouse led by the Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Ts. Tee Kok Keong, recently made a courtesy visit to Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD). Beyond Tomorrow is renowned for its diverse spectrum of ICT services, including cutting-edge training methodologies and certifications spanning Cellular Communication, WiFi, CCTV technologies, Network Security, and Talent Acquisition. 

At UBD, the delegation was warmly received by Senior Professor Dr. Liyanage Chandratilak De Silva, the Dean of the School of Digital Science (SDS) and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Integrated Science (FIT), alongside representatives from FIT and the Innovation and Enterprise Office. 

The meeting provided a platform for UBD to gain profound insights into the vast capabilities of Beyond Tomorrow while nurturing a rich exchange of ideas and perspectives. The central theme of these discussions was the exploration of collaborative avenues with the aim of advancing the IT education framework within UBD that is in line with UN SDG 4. This encompassed harnessing the reservoir of expertise available at UBD to foster research collaborations and entrepreneurial initiatives, addressing the disconnect between industry demands and academic competencies, and the creation of invaluable opportunities for UBD students to immerse themselves in industrial experiential learning and technopreneurship skills. 

The visit concluded on a positive note, with a commemorative group photo session.
