Visit to Baiduri Bank

On October 20, 2022, the Office of Assistant Vice-Chancellor Innovation and Enterprise (OAVCIE) paid a courtesy visit to Baiduri Bank's headquarters in Gadong. Led by Professor Dr Muhammad Ayub Sadiq (AVC IE), Pg Dr Emeroylariffion Pg Hj Abas (Director of OAVCIE) and Dr Annie Dayani bte Ahad Abdullah (Deputy Director of OAVCIE) were also present.

The visit's goal is to explore potential areas of collaboration between UBD and Baiduri Bank. Pg Azaleen PD Hj Mustapha, the Deputy CEO for Business Development, Baiduri and Mohammad Isa Liew, Head of Business Banking, as well as Ng Yick Wei, the Head of Group Marketing and Strategic Communications, and Nur Rusydina Binti Md Helmezulkifli, a Marketing and Corporate Communication Executive, were given an introduction to IE Office, which highlighted the potential industrial collaboration in the areas of R&D, patent access, teaching and learning, and joint CSR and  related  services.

The visit then concluded with a quick tour of the Baiduri Bank offices, which received a regional award for most innovative and sustainable office design.
