The invention discloses a nanocomposite based immunosensor to detect a salivary secretory immunoglobulin A. The nanocomposite includes nanocomposite layers of gold nanoparticles and polyethylene glycol on carbon nanofiber screen-printed electrode. The nanocomposite layers of gold nanoparticles and the Polyethylene Glycol are self-assemble.
The invention detects sIgA directly without utilizing any hazardous reagents or labels, any enzymes or chemicals.
