BRUNEI SHELL PETROLEUM SDN BHD DECOMMISSIONING AND RESTORATION TEAM MEETING

On 27th May 2021, A representative from Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) Decommissioning and Restoration (D&R) Team had a discussion on Surface Abandonment-Isolation Strategy with the Office of Assistant Vice Chancellor Innovation and Enterprise (OAVCIE).

The meeting was attended by Hj Idris Hj Mohd Jaafar, D&R Manager; Manoochehr Salehabadi D&R Technology Lead; Pg Suraini Pg Hashim, D&R Business Opportunity Manager for East Asset; Mr.Todd Zerbin, D&R Business Opportunity Manager for Darat Asset; Pg Reza Mariano Pg Salleh, Subsurface Abandonment Lead and Puan Mazridah Rahman, D&R External Relations and Cadence PMO.

Representatives from UBD include Professor Dr. Mohammad Ayub Sadiq @ Lin Naing, Assistant Vice Chancellor (Innovation and Enterprise);Pg Dr Emeroylariffion Abas, Director OAVCIE; Dr Afroz Ahmad Shah and Dr Stefan Herwig Godeke from Faculty of Science; and Dr Hj Abdul Hanif Hj Mahadi from the Centre of Advanced Material and Energy Sciences.

The proposed projects include Trapping and sealing potential of selected crops in Brunei Darussalam, Wide Cap-rock identification and mapping study, Statistical Analysis for good cement quality prediction, and Energy Transition.
