LiveWIRE MASTERCLASS FOR EV DISCOVERY YEAR (DY) INCUBATION COHORT JANUARY 2021

On the 8th of February, Entrepreneurship Village (EV) from Office of Assistant Vice Chancellor Innovation and Enterprise (OAVCIE) took part on a Masterclass: Design Thinking workshop organized by LiveWIRE, where it aims to help the participants to build up innovative and creative ideology.

43 students from the Discovery Year (DY) Incubation program of EV had the opportunity to take part in that workshop and it took place at EV. This Masterclass is the second masterclass organized by LiveWIRE for EV.

LiveWIRE Masterclass: Design Thinking is one out of the seven focus masterclass provided by LiveWIRE which is entry level friendly for entrepreneurs by redefining problems with innovative solutions through embracing iterative processes. With the methods taught and applying to real case scenarios through an activity, the participants were given a great foundation.

With the workshop, it is hoped that the 43 students of DY Incubation are able to be critical in addressing problems, be able to identify possible hurdles and solve them comprehensively and apply the practices and knowledge they have received from the workshop to further develop their exponential skills in their journey as a student entrepreneur of UBD. With the collaboration between LiveWIRE and EV, the Masterclass was made possible with the hope of expanding the nation's entrepreneurship ecosystem.
