The invention relates to a metal-free organic photosensitizer and their use in solar cell making. It relates to natural photosensitizers with absorption spectra extending up to near infrared region (IR). The invention is capable of achieving a broader absorption spectrum that covers the entire visible range and extends up to the near-IR region of 2500 nm. The present disclosure provides a series of new organic D−π−A architected photosensitizer that is derived from cyanidin, which is abundantly available in nature. Cyanidin acts as the donor group (D) while cyanoacrylic acid and thieno [3, 2-b] thiophene are employed as the acceptor (A) and π-spacer, respectively. Sensitization performance calculated by density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) concludes to a plurality of preferred substitutions of π-A combination to cyanidin molecule thereby leading to an efficient dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC). Such π-A substitutions result in a broader absorption spectrum with a redshift up to 2500 nm.

A sewage tank is in fluid communication with at least one bedpan for receiving the wastewater resulting from the cleaning of the user.

The coating liquid adequately effective against mold and fungus.

Meats are very prone to adulterations and mislabeling and despite proper labelling, doubts are inevitable due to the past cases of fraudulent labelling by dishonest manufacturers. The invention discloses a qPCR assay using specific primer and ZEN probe to detect porcine adulteration in food. The assay is highly specific to porcine DNA from nine other species. Porcine DNA was successfully detected in real food samples. The limit of detection in standard sample was as low as 1pg/μl and in raw pork‐chicken was as low as 0.001%. The assay rapidly detected 10ng/μl of porcine DNA approximately in 10.70 minutes.

The electrolyte is used to coat a thin layer on the painted metal surface, e.g., steel surface, above the ground and off-shore facilities, wherein the thin layer which is dried, transparent, and ionically conductive becomes a good source of constant supply of electrolyte above the ground and at atmospheric conditions.

Penetration of renewable energy is doubling almost every three years. Renewable sources like wind and solar are highly unpredictable due to their weather dependency. When penetration of such sources is more than 10-15%, intermittency affects the reliability of the grid. To maintain the reliability of the grid, grid operators curtail such sources from the grid. In many occasions, such curtailments happen because of transmission bottleneck to transfer the extra energy generation from RE sources. To reduce such curtailment, it is essential to determine the optimal RE integration limit for any grid/micro-grid. The invention determines the phase-wise renewable energy integration limit in a grid/microgrid considering the intermittency of the RE sources. The invention also provides the optimal size of renewable resources in a grid/microgrid considering the reliability and the economy criterions. Further, the invention determines the minimum loading level (instantaneous and average) of conventional sources in the presence of intermittent RE sources.

There are several locations with low to moderate wind profiles, which can potentially be utilized for wind energy applications. However, most of today’s commercial turbines do not perform well under such low wind velocities. Keeping this in view, the UBD researchers have developed a wind turbine which will start generating energy even at wind speeds as low as 1.5 m/s and perform well under low wind conditions. This is achieved through a laminar separation bubble controller which is an integral part of the turbine blades. The controller allows an early transition of the flow from laminar to the turbulent region even at low velocities, thereby improving the starting and low wind speed performances of the turbine.
